WAPVA responded to a missing children call in June, but luckily the pair turned up safe and sound after only two hours.
July 14 & 15 saw WAPVA providing 24-hour security for two locations in downtown Wilberforce in response to undisclosed security issues. No problems arose, and the issues were quickly resolved.
The association once again provided security during Wilberforce's Country Good Times celebrations in July. Members were also out directing traffic and provided the OPP with assistance in dealing with a public nuisance, which was resolved without problems. WAPVA members were out for two nights in August as well, keeping an eye on the proceedings of the Agricultural Fair.
